"Kenshin's Surprise"

As the snow fell lightly, one man watched silently, a red haired man with a cross shaped scar on his face, Kenshin Himura. While he had been standing there he noticed that he had not seen any signs of Yohiko, Karou, or Sanosuke. By now Sanosuke or Yohiko would have done something to make Miss Karou start yelling. “I haven’t even heard a thing from Miss Kaoru,” he thought aloud,” I wonder where they all are, that I do.”

By noon, he still hadn’t seen any of them. He was beginning to get worried when Sanosuke came up behind him and told him that Kaoru need some more bandages from Miss Magumi’s. “Do I have to go out in this weather? It’s snowing, that it is,” Kenshin complained. “All right. Missy!” Sanosuke yelled threateningly. Ok, ok, I’ll go, I’ll go. Just don’t get Miss Karou in it,” Kenshin begged.

Once he finally got through the blizzard to the clinic, he knocked on the, but didn’t get an answer. He went inside and called, “Miss Magumi, Karou sent me to get some bandages. Miss Magumi?!?” But still he got no answer, so he decided to go back to the dojo.

The sun had set once he got there and the dojo was completely black. When he got inside, he saw a candle light coming towards him. Drawing his sword he called, “Who’s there?” “It is only I,” Karou replied. Once she got close enough, Kenshin noticed that she was wearing her finest kimono. She light some candles that were scattered across the room and Kenshin noticed that the room had been decorated in holly and mistletoe. “Beautiful?” she asked.
“Beautiful,” he replied not taking his eyes off her. As they stared into each others eyes, he leaned forward and their lips met it passion and fire. Breaking the kiss, Kenshin said, “You are beautiful.”
