Nuriko's dream

Miaka and Tamahome were talking under a sakura tree, when Nuriko came.
"It's time for lunch, Miaka," she said.
"Alright!! Lunch!", Miaka said. She tugged Tamahome on his sleeve, and dragged him into the house. There was a lot of food on the table, and Miaka can't help drooling over them.
"Wow! Nuriko, is this all for us?",Miaka asked. Nuriko nodded. "What are we waiting for? Let's dig in!"
Miaka ate three times as much as she normally did, but this did not surprise Tamahome, nor Nuriko. Even they ate twice as much because the food was really delicious.
"I wonder who cooked our food...", Miaka said with her mouth full.
Nuriko pointed at herself, and smiled. "I did. I knew you'd like it. But I didn't know it would be this good."
"I didn't know you could cook," Tamahome whispered under his breath. Nuriko heard what he said.
"Of course i could, Tama. I'm not only strong, I'm also good t other things, too, you know," Nuriko said.
"Anyway, I really like the food, but I gotta try to stick with my diet," Miaka said, breaking Tamahome's and Nuriko's argument. She kept on eating after what she said, and Nuriko stared.
"I thought you're gonna stick with your diet?" Nuriko asked, amused.
"After I'm done with this," she answered. Tamahome and Nuriko laughed aloud while Miaka was still busy stuffing her face with the delicious food Nuriko prepared.
That night, Tamahome went out to walk, leaving Miaka and Nuriko alone.
Miaka was outside, staring at the beautiful night sky. Nuriko stared at her, thinking, why did you choose Tamahome?
