Karl's Sacrifice
"Noooooo!!" Karl Shubaltz screamed. The monster kept coming at him, closer and closer until....
"Colonel?"
Van and Thomas stood above him, concern on their faces.
"Wh-what happened?" Karl said. He found himself on the floor, his wrist burning with pain.
"You were screaming, and we came to see what was wrong."Thomas said.
"Nothing, I was just having a nightmare, that's all."Karl said. He felt so weak.
Thomas sat down*Hey,Karl.Hermann wants you to meet him in 10 minutes.I don't know what it is, but it must be important.Karl?"
'That monster, what was it?'Karl thought.
"Right. I'm going to see what Hermann wants. I'll be right back."
"Finally, you made it."Rob Hermann said as Karl walked towards him.
"Yeah, what is it?"Karl said.
"Well, its just that its been too quiet.WAY too quiet."
Out of nowhere, two sand like organoids popped up with two men holding crossbows, both aiming at Hermann.
"Aaaaghhh!"
Karla was on the ground, the two arrows in him, both in the side.
"Karl!"Hermann cried.
