It was another peacefull day in Tokyo. Kenshin and Sanosuke were out to earn some money to pay of the Sano's dept at the Akabeko. Kaoru has been getting tired of Sanosuke leeching food off her for free and Sanosuke can't let his tab get any higher at the Akabeko so Kenshin decided to help him pay off his dept. Sanosuke: Thanks alot for helping me Kenshin. Kenshin in a run down voice: Don't mention it. Sanosuke: Don't worry Kenshin we arent going to do any hardwork. Kenshin: What exactly is this one helping you with? Sanosuke: Here we are, the Shuei-ya. Kenshin:Don't tell me we're gambling. Sanosuke: Of coarse. Kenshin: And you want me to help you cheat. Sanosuke: That's pretty much the size of it. Kenshin: Both gambling and cheating are illegal. Sanosuke: Yes and so is your sakaba. Kenshin: Good point. Sanosuke: Anyway it is just small pocket change, no one is loosing much. Kenshin raised his head. Someone was robbing a person in a cariage. Kenshin was about to act but then what looked like an 18 year old boy stepped in. The boy ran the robbers off. Kenshin ran over to the boy as soon. Kenshin: It's you. Boy: Your Hitokiri Battosai. Kenshin: And you are Okita Soji. Sanosuke: You two know each other? Soon someone started hollering at Sanosuke. Kenshin and Sanosuke both went into the Shuei-ya 3 hours later Kenshin and Sanosuke arrived at Kamiya Dojo Kaoru: Your back, dinner will be ready soon I am making ohagi. Sanosuke: Oh great, Kaoru's making dinner tonight. A very serious look shot across Kenshin's face. Kaoru: What is it Kenshin. Kenshin: This one felt senses a fight. Kenshin and Sano walked outside. The Okit tanding in the yard. Kenshin: This one has been expecting you. Sanosuke: What do you mean you've been expecting him, and how do you 2 know each other anyway. Kenshin: Later Sano. The two drew their swords. Okita thrusted at Kenshin. Kenshin countered with So Ryu Sen. Kenshin stepped out with a cut on his neck. Okita was knocked on the ground. Kenshin: I see you have improved since we faught during the revolution. 2 inches to the left and I would have been dead. Okita: Ever since the revolution i have been training hard for this day. Okita and Kenshin slapped swords until Okita managed to push Kenshin off balence.Okita raised his sword to strike Kenshin down. Kenshin: Perhaps this is punishment for the sins commited by Battousai. Kaoru then grabbed Kenshin. Kaoru: Why do you want to kill Kenshin. What did he do to you. Okita: This is personal i want know one else to die. Sanosuke then grabbed Okita from behind, took his sword and through it way. Sanosuke: THat is something i want to know as well. Okita: It was ten years ago. I was the youngest member of the Shinsengumi. My master was Kondo Isami. Kenshin: Kondo was among the people who were slain by this one's sword. Okita: That's right, and he will be avenged. Okita pulled out a tanto and stabbed Sanosuke in the shoulder. The got his sword and pointed it at Kaoru. Kaoru: Kenshin is no longer the man who killed your father. Have you not noticed he is using a sakaba Kenshin: Kaoru Dono is right. This one though unworthy weilds his sword to avenge the people who's lives were lost during the revolution, especially those who's lifes were lost by the blade of Hitokiri Battousai. Sanosuke: If your gonna continue to fight Kenshin you'll have to get through me. Kaoru: And me Okita turned his back on Kenshin and the others. Okita: I have some serious thinking to do. I will see you again someday Himura. Okita dissappeared into the shadows. |
