Here's chapter three of my very first fanfic. Into Kagome's World Chapter Three: The Demon Rises Again “Rin!” Sesshomaru starts running towards the well. “Who or what was that?” Miroku demanded. “I think Myoga might know.” Sango answered. “Well, whoever that was, it fixed up the well.” Kagome noticed. She starts moving towards the well. All of the sudden Inu Yasha stops her. “Whoever that was must be very dangerous. Going down the well will put you in danger as well Kagome.” “Well, where ever my woman goes. I come along.” Koga says proudly. Inu Yasha hits Koga. “Hands off pal. She ain’t your woman.” Sesshomaru buds in, highly amused by his little brother. “So is she your ‘woman’, little brother?” “Hey I never said that. Well at least I don’t have some little squirt for a girlfriend!” “Ummmm…” “Lord Sesshomaru. We should be grateful Rin is now gone. That little girl seems to follow us everywhere.” “Jaken!” “I suppose no one can be as heartless to abandon a little child.” Miroku said. “Well I suppose even Sesshomaru can develop feelings, but it may seem impossible.” Sango says. “Well what do you say ‘brother’ why do you want to find the kid.” “Well umm…. she’s…. a….got something of mine!” “What a shame. I mean we must go find it my Lord.” Jaken says. “I for once must agree with your brother Inu Yasha. We must find this thing, before it does any damage. If that well is a portal between our era and Kagome’s era, her era might as well be in danger.” “Oh my gosh! You’re right Miroku, we have to leave now!” Kagome yells. “We shouldn’t rush into a battle without knowing about our enemy.” Sango says. “Besides, Inu Yasha and Kagome are the only ones who could go down the well.” Shippo says. “What! What does that mutt that I don’t?” Koga asks. “Well, what does that mean? Whatever it was, must have been able to go down, even with Rin.” Sesshomaru says. “After all these years, he still posses powerful, dark magic.” Myoga says to Totosai. “Oh look who decided to show up. Ran away did we again Myoga?” Inu Yasha says. “Lord Inu Yasha, a thousand pardons. Totosai and I were discussing the Great Demon Mamono.” “Well what do you know, you finally decided to include us in this discussion, it includes us as well. And why did you bring that idiot along?!” “Sir, we were just going to say our farewells and thanks to Kagome when that demon appeared.” “And you had to bring the old man along?” “Excuse me Inu Yasha. But Kagome deserves thanks. It appears that she was your source of power. She’s the one who enabled you to wield the tetsaiga and unleash its mighty power. Without her, you’d be just a useless mutt who misuses the sword.” Totosai says. “Please, I could have done better without her.” Inu Yasha brags. “Are you insulting my woman.” Koga cuts in front of Inu Yasha. “For the millionth time, she’s not your woman!” “Stop you two! We’re getting nowhere with you two arguing all the time.” “Inu Yasha, you’ve haven’t grown out of your little childish habit have you now?” Sesshomaru gets an urge to laugh, but resists it. “Myoga, please tell us about this demon Mamono.” “Well Mamono is one of the most powerful demons ever. Naruku imprisoned him for that main reason. He didn’t want another demon overpowering him. Mamono was trapped in a mountain. Naruku used powerful magic to get him there. He placed a magical force field and everything. He even placed a spell that will drain Mamono’s magic and strength. But Mamono was strong; he fought this magic, awaiting the defeat of Naruku that would free him. He was almost freed the same he was trapped, since Naruku was so weak, he was close to death after the battle between them. But Naruku grew stronger, but now he’s gone. So now, there’s nothing holding him back. Something stronger that his magic will imprisoned him again.” “We can defeat him easily seeing that most of his powers are gone.” Sango said. “No. We can’t since he’s been fighting Naruku’s spell, not even half of his powers are gone. He’s still pretty powerful. We must be careful. Because he can even regain his strength by a simple sacrifice.” “And that would require Rin.” Sesshomaru says in shock with eyes wide. “It would require any living mortal being devoured at the new moon. But he needs a number of them.” “But why would he go down the well. He could have gotten elsewhere why here?” “He must know about your world Kagome. It’s full of mortals and what else; it could be a new moon. I’m glad I’m a demon, cause this guy sounds scary.” Shippo says. “I wonder if we’re able to go to your world as well Kagome. Since the demon went down.” Miroku says. “Well we won’t figure anything out if we’re just standing around. Let’s go!” Sango says while getting ready for battle. “Be very careful…” Myoga squeaks. “Aren’t you coming Myoga. You now a lot about this demon than any of us.” “He’s trying to run away again.” Inu Yasha smirks. “I’m going to warn Lady Kaede’s village, they’re the closes village to this well and if Mamono decides to go back down the well again. They’re first in line. I’ll come along once I’m done.” “We must make sure no one goes into the well. We wouldn’t want to drag demons out of Kagome world.” Miroku says. “I’ll stand guard here.” Totosai volunteered. “Good all set. Let’s go!” Jaken was standing beside the well looking in. “Master Sesshomaru wait for me!” “Well I guess Sesshomaru wants his girlfriend back.” They start going down the well, Sango, Miroku, Shippo go down. Then Koga prepares to jump in. “Who said you could go.” “Inu Yasha we need as much help as possible.” Kagome says, then she turns to Koga. “You’re welcome to come along if you wish.” “Wherever you go I go.” “Please, let’s go.” They all went down the well. Myoga heads off to warn Lady Kaede. And Totosai’s way of guarding the well is placing his cow on top of the well, which prevents anyone from going in; while he sleeps. TA DA! That's the end. Chapter Four...when they go into Kagome's world. Lot of laughs... |
