chapter one
Tiller steped out of Chaos Gate onto a short plateu. It was dry and dusty like on Mars. Her soft black leather boots made a careful inprint in the dust. She walked towards the edge of the plateu were a boy sat. Her cute japanese uniform rustled in the gentle breeze that had started when she had steped out of the gate. Her tie hit her arm... once... twice... thre times, mimicing her steps. Her short pink hair brushed in front of her light blue eyes, but settled imeditly when she stopped behind the boy. She stared at his back and straightened her hat. "look," she says "I know this might not be easy but you got to let it go."
The boy kept staring straight ahead. There was only clouds below them, but off in the far distence there loomed a glowing red, orange, and pink sphere. It was the sun slowly rising in front of their eyes. The girl continued. "They are never coming back, just give up your search." He did not reply. "Do you just want me to leave?!"
"Yes," He said in a soft calm voice. "I don't think you want to be around to see this." He finally turned to look at her from a sideways angle.
"Wat are you going to do?" She asked him. But she already knew the answer, just didn't want to hear it.
"Shi." (japanese for death) He said camly.
Her light blue eyes filled with tears. "No," She said. "No," She started to choke on her tears "No."
End of chapter one.
