If one only knew By Gloomyshadow Authors note:.Mrs.Makino=Grandma Ms. Makino= Mom ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ryo walkeds down the street from the subway station and spotted Rika. "Hey Rika.what's up?"Ryo asked. "Nothing."Rika plainly answered. They turned and found their way to the park. "Finally you guys are here."Henry greeted. "We all just wanted to say Good-bye!"Takato said. Rika looked puzzled . "What do you mean'Good-bye'?"she asked. "Takato and I are going to Texas."Jeri said. "Suzie and I are going to Kansas."Henry said. "Kenta and I will go to Mississipi."Kazu said. "And Rika and I will stay here."Ryo concluded. "Ya,sorry so early.That's why we hung out longer yesterday."Takato said. "We found jobs at where we're going."Henry continued. "Keep us updated."Ryo cheerfully said. After they said their goodbyes Ryo and Rika decided to walk together until they were at thier homes. "I'm sure going to mis them."Rika said. "I know."Ryo said looking at the sky. "Bye this is my turn."Rika said then went across the street. Ryo watched her as she went. "If only you knew."he whispered. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Next day~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rika was sad her best friend went to Texas. "Another load of junk."Rika said as she went into a liqour store. She had jeans and a shirt with long sleeves. "Ms.Nonaka you finally came!............................Now work."her boss said tossing her an apron. "This job will do for now."Rika reminded herself. The door opened and a customer came in. "Welcome to Happy-Dappy liquor store how can I help you?"Rika dully greeted the daily thing to do. "Hi Rika."Ryo greeted. "Ryo?!"Rika exclaimed. Ryo looked around and grabbed a few sodas.He put it on the counter. "Didn't know you worked here."he said as she put the items in bag. "Ya,well."Rika said. "Cya!"Ryo said then left. Rika looked on as he left. "If you only knew."Rika said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Year later~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Isn't it great the group's going to be together again?"Ryo asked as he and Rika drove. "I can't wait to see them again."Rika said. Ryo parked the car and got out. "We'd like 4 medium pizzas.Pepperoni and cheese to go."Rika ordered. "4?"Ryo asked. "You never know when Kazu and Kenta are around."Rika said. Rika paid the cashier,picked up two pizzas and left.Ryo took the other two and ran after her. "Who's in your house entertaining them if they arrived there 15 minutes ago."Ryo asked putting the pizzas in the back. "My mom and grandma are there."Rika replied going in the car. Ryo went through a traffic sign. "I missed them."Ryo said. "Ya,me too."Rika agreed. Suddenly a drunk driver came from the other lane............and then to the front of them. "Ryo look out!!!!!!!!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~In Rika's house~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Nice to see you again Mrs.Makino."Jeri greeted as they came in. Takato looked out the window. "Looks like a crash."he said. "Where's Ryo and Rika?"Henry asked taking a seat. "They're getting pizza."Mrs.Makino said. "Let's check on the crash."Ms.Makino said turning on the TV. "Breaking news today a crash on an intersectionhas witnesses stunned."a reporter said. "Wonder who it could be."Kenta said. "The victims were said to get pizza when a drunk driver from the oppisite road crashed into them killing the victims and the other driver."the reporter continued ."The victims were identified to be Rika Nonaka and Ryo Akiyama......."the reporter drifted off. Everyone froze.They didn't know what to do. ".......they were rushed to a near by hospital."the reporter ended. Takato grabbed his keys. "Let's go." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hospital~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Where's Ryo Akiyama and Rika Nonaka?"Jeri immediately asked the first nurse she saw. The nurse looked puzzled and pointed to thier left. "They're both in there." They ran into the door and saw the two friends. "You must be friends and family" a doctor said. "Are they going to be alright?"Kenta asked. "It's not determined yet.You can speak to them."the doctor said then left. They went inside and one half went to Rika the other to Ryo. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Next day~~~~~~~~~~ Ryo woke up,but his eyes were still closed. "I can die now or stay alive."Ryo said in his head. On the other end of the room Rika woke up with her eyes shut. "Should I live or die?"she asks herself too. "Rika hates me anyway."Ryo thought. "Ryo hates me anyway."Rika thought. *Beep*Beep*Beep**BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*........ "Rika!Ryo!" ~~~~~~~~~2 days later~~~~~~~~~~~ Ryo and Rika were buried next to each other.Jeri looked down at her lost friends graves. "What's the matter?" Takato asked. Jeri looked at Takato said with a sad face on. "They had a choice Takato."she sadly said. "They did?"Henry asked. Jeri nodded and looked up at the others. "If only one knew the other would hav lived too."she explained. Takato nodded his head.
