Usagi walks into a forest. “um where am I? This can’t be right. I will get Gen next time I see him. If I die I want him to find my body then I can haunt him for the rest of his days.” Usagi said to himself. The forest was clearing up after a short walk. Usagi could hear light noises near by. “ah! A town! This is good. I’ll find an inn and stay there for the night.” Meanwhile, Kenshin was watching Kaoru and Yahiko train. “Ha! Ha! Ha!” could be heard from them. “Kaoru why do we practice out side in the snow?” said Yahiko shivering. “Because ... Ha! It builds… Ha! Character…. Ha! Okay that’s enough. Lets’ go eat” Kaoru said. Sanoske walks up to the three “hey missy! Mugume is out you are going to have to make lunch.” He said with a grimacing look on his face at the thought of Kaoru’s cooking. Usagi approaches them thinking he will ask directions to the nearest town seeing that it was a dogo he found. “Ah a guest! Wait you aren’t a human. No you are in disguise that’s all. Hiding from someone. Yes that’s right. Funny disguise though. No need to wear it here. We protect our guests.” Kaoru said. “But… I’m…not in disguise you are the one’s in disguise!” Usagi said. He had never seen a human before. Kaoru and Usagi stared at each other for a while. “Now. Now. We shouldn’t stare at our guests that we shouldn’t” Kenshin said. “Hey! Sano! Why can’t we go to the restraunt we usually go to.” Yahiko asked. “It’s closed for some reason. I don’t know.” Sanoske answered. “Excuse me. Are there any inns around here?” Usagi asked. “None that are open. I’ve been around that stupid town and every things closed!” Sanoske replied. Later they are in the dogo waiting for kaoru to bring their lunch to them. “So what’s your name long ears?” Sanoske asked. “Oh yes. I am Miyamoto Usagi. I am a ronin” Usagi answered. “Funny! Kenshin is a ronin too. Isn’t that right Kenshin?” Yahiko said. “Um well” kenshin said just as Kaoru walked out with their dinner. Usagi took one bite and choked. “Well how is it?” Kaoru asked. “Um well it’s tasteful.” Usagi lied. He took a big gulp of tea. All of a sudden there was a clammer outside. Kenshin and Usagi jumped up drawing their swords. They ran outside. Fujii was standing by the door with a small army of neko ninjas. “Fujii! Why have you followed me! This is a peaceful town!” Usagi shouted. “Hmph. Peaceful indeed. What are these creatures? Oh never mind that. You and that thing over there with the sword are going to die. HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!” Fujii and the neko ninjas ran at Kenshin and Usagi. “Fujii is mine! You go after the Neko Ninjas!” Usagi ordered. “Okay” kenshin accepted his command and ran after the ninjas. Usagi and Fujii faced each other. Then they ran at each other slashing out their swords. Two minutes later. Fujii lied there in a puddle of blood. Usagi breathed heavily. Kenshin came back and look at Fujii. “Sorry I must leave now. I wish not to cause any more trouble.” Usagi said his head bowed. “He’s dead that he is. I forgive you.” Kenshin said. “Kenshin! Whoa! What happened here? Ack there is a dead guy!” Yahiko said. “Thank you all for letting me stay here for the night! I hope our paths cross again some day. Sorry again for all the trouble I caused. I hope things get better.” Usagi said the next day bowing. “Oh it was nothing. Please take care now.” Kaoru said waving. Mugume came running up. “Sorry. Who’s that guy?” Mugume asked. “That was Usagi that is was.” Kenshin replied. The End! |
