Chapter 1
Battousai is born
Many years have passed. Wars have been fought, blood has been spilled, and for the sake of peace… at least they thought it was. Times have changed now in the year 2850 when all weapons of mass destruction are gone and people once again live… and die by the blade. One legacy has lived passed the dead and has caused his share of death the legacy of Kenshin the swordsman, the battousai, the manslayer, the protector. His generations of fighting skills and morals have passed down and now a child is born on this day and the title of battousai will be hers.
“Is she here yet?” Gatras asked as he looked at his wife urging the doctor to tell him.
The doctor only looked back at a nurse and yelled. “Were having some problems here we might need to make an emergency operation to save this baby and hopefully this woman’s life!”
Gatras jumped about. “Problem what problem you are the most expensive doctor you can’t fail.”
“Someone get this guy outta here.” The doctor called back.
Soon a man in a leather suit and trenchcoat (A black guard) took him out of the room. “Sit.” The dark man said as he felt his sword with his right hand.
*These guys… these black guards are allowed to kill but they abuse their right* Gatras said to himself as he stared the guard down then looked away for he had not the nerve.
After another minute of hearing his wife’s screams he tried to stand but was pushed back into his seat. Still more screaming came. “Oh GOD don’t let anything bad happen.”
“God does not want us anymore settle yourself.” The black guard said with a dark smirk.
Gatras ignored him and continued to pray. “Silence yourself.” The guard said again.
Gatras silenced himself not wanting his daughter to live without dad. Then suddenly the doctor burst through the door and fell to the dark guard’s feet. He was dying it was easy to see by the blood all over his back. “The… baby is b…born but a man he… he killed.”
Then the doctor died. “What!” Gatras screamed. “Is my baby and my wife o.k.”
“Sit.” The black guard said as he drew his blade but was cut down by a figure before he could move. The figure coated in blood and black looked down on Gatras. “Your wife is dead and you only have a girl… the battousai will not return.”
“What?” Gatras said but the man vanished literally vanished.
-10 years later on that very day-
Gatras was cloaked in tears as he guided his daughter to a grave. He knelt down and grasped his sword. “I now carry this blade with me so that this will never happen again I will become what I left behind years ago I will use the Shinhake to become the battousai.”
