A girl named Misaki goes to live with her aunt in Tokyo, where she comes across Angelic Layer, a fighting "angel" or doll game. She is immediately hooked on it and decides to create her own angel with the help of a strange man who calls himself Mr. Icchan. At school she meets some new friends who end up helping her and supporting her when she enters into the Angelic Layer competion where the angels battle eachother and the winners go to the national finals. A very cute and funny story that spans five novels. Completely out in manga form in the US, but not at all in the anime.Click here to submit a description!
