Alice 19th volume one, manga. A very cute yet dark story. It started off quite simple. Big sister gets the attention, little sister likes the same guy big sister likes, big sister's boyfriend has a soft spot for the little sister and on and on. But for a very simple begining plot you can see the personality of each character shining. From the begining Alice's personality is obviously "shy". But later you see that she's really just the way she is so that she doesn't cause confrentation. She's a different kind of protagonist that is refreshing when you think of all the in your face lead characters. Mayura's personality is very outgoing and happy, in the begining, and it's easy to see why everyone likes her. Kyo's actual personality doesn't really make apearance untill he said he had serched for the bunny all night long. After that his personality just came pouring out. All in all, Alice 19th is a very shoujo story with intriguing characterization and beautiful artwork.
