Any of you Berserk fans would know that this anime is one of the best top quality shows out there. Nothing can really compete with its intricate detail of blood and emotional disposition. Everything that happens in this anime, happens for specific reasons. Hidden truths behind every 'mask' everything so vague for awhile. So I do say with all my heart that I fell in love with this anime. The graphic nature may not be suitable for those with an adolescent mind. Understanding is rather simple if you watch the series 3 or 4 times just to watch blood splatter all over the screen while listening to Drowning Pool - Bodies or something. But yeah, I've loved this anime. Thank you, have a nice day, out.(Oh yeah and any of you Berserk junkies that do know, they have begun to draw up the second installment. So be on the look out.)

Berserk is a spectacular anime. It ranked number one on my list of anime for nearly 3 years. The series itself is 25 episodes long with the first episode actually being the last cronologically. Most people who rave about this anime can be heard saying, "And remeber when he killed so-and-so" or "He is so stong and tough I wish I could be just like him." These oppinions are valid in that the anime has a level of violence rarely matched. But it is the icing on a cake of serious psychological drama. Gatts the main character is running from his feelings and uses his intense fighting skill to blanket his problems. Grifith (there exist a number of spellings) is power hungry but does not realize that power must be tempered with an active desire to do good or it will currupt completly. The anime is thoroughly adult in that people too young will definatly have difficulty understanding the deep emotions being depicted, If you love anime and have not given this anime a glance you are missing out on one of the best.
