Bebopboy
Posts: 0 Score: 1 Rank: 890 | | Cowboy Bebop has all the makings of a great anime it is not one of those dime a dozen animes about demons angels and giant robots which keep churning out episode after episode with no uniqueness to the story unlike Cowboy Bebop the Characters are sooo distinctive relatable and recognizable they are characters unlike any other anime, the stories behind each of them are sooo deep like Spike spiegel my favorite character out of any anime and I"ve seen alot of animes his life and past history are sooo complex and sad but he hides it away with his brash charming tough guy act but hes really caring and sensitvie, but one of the greatest things about Bebop is definetly the music thats what attracted me to it, the combination of jazz and rock really give you the feeling of the settings in the year 2071.Even if there are only 26 eps each one of the stories of them are made like a movie,Itsd quality not quanity thats what makes Cowboy Bebop the greatest anime.

Posts: 0 Score: 1 Rank: 562 | Cowboy Bebop is the best anime i've seen, I love the graphics and the plot of it. Even though its only 26 episodes its wonderfully created. It starts out with...
Spike Speigel in year 2071 and space technology is at its advanced. Spike anyways is a very laid-back, cool, smooth, sometimes stubborn guy. He practice's martial arts. He also lives in the past thinking about his days being in the "Red Dragons" and with the mysterious woman, Julia.
Anyways Spike and his friend Jet Black aka Black Dog live on Jet's ship called the Bebop. They are bounty hunters.
Jet anyways is a former ISSP member. But retired after his whole incident with his arm. Jet can be hot-headed at times, loves his bonsai trees, and is a good cook.
Well Ein joins up with the team he is a dog, but not just some ordinary Welsh Corgi he is a "data dog" worth a lot of money. You will have to see how he joins up with them.
Next is Faye Valentine she is a bounty huntress that joins Spike and Jet. Her past is unknown until some episodes reveal them. She isnt as old as looks ;). She is pushy, and good looking. Her hobby is gambling and she cheats really well at it. Because of that and some other stuff she has some large debts to pay.
Next is Ed aka Radical Edward. Yes, this is a girl. She is around 13 and she has a very special talent, hacking. She gets along with Ein very well and loves Piyokos from her home Earth. In some episodes you will get to know a little of her past, but for now I wont say. She is very hyper, and she is very funny.
Well they are two more people from the Spikes past, Julia and Vicious. But you will have to watch to find out more about them!
Cowboy Bebop is all about there pasts and all the bounty hunters they catch. Its really good and I recommend it! |
The music box is broken, or is it?
It starts to play and a haunting tune fills the air.
I awake suddenly from my dream.
There is no music box and yet their is, its a tiny one.
Nestled in my hand and I awake from my dream again.
As if i was peeling a onion.
Its a dream no matter how far I go.
I can never reach to reality.
Trapped in a endless nightmare.
Next Episode: Ballard Of Fallen Angels. |

Posts: 0 Score: 5 Rank: 175 | Welcome to a review of one of my favorite animes!
Cowboy Bebop is about three bounty hunters (Spike, Jet, and Faye) who track down wanted people to get M-O-N-E-Y. Well duh, they're bounty hunters afterall! Then Ein and Ed join up.
Spike Speigel is a perfect definition of the word "cool" (ok, so that fact that he smokes is NOT cool, but can we just ignore that?). He's got fluffy hair, casual clothes, bad-boyish attitude, HE'S COOL! His past was quite something...but he prefers not to talk about it. Oh, and I should mention the fact that he has a grudge against three things: kids (kids=Ed), animals (animals=Ein), and women with attitude (women with attitudes=Faye) :)
Jet Black is basically Spike's best friend. He's very fatherly towards everyone in the Bebop crew, and he too had quite a past (but it's nothing like Spike's). He's got a robotic arm (too obvious...) and he often treats Ed like a daughter lol.
Faye Valentine is one of the coolest anime girls ever. She never uses her looks to get men, she's not interested in men, she's great! Faye's past is REALLY sad... She and Spike get into fights A LOT and you'll be stunned when she says "Sorry" (with feeling) to Spike in one episode when she accidently bumps into Spike rather than starting a huge fight (like usual). Faye DIGS gambling and being a woman. Litterally.
Ein is soooooooo cute! Ein is a pembrook (sp?) welsh corgi (a doggie) but don't let that make you think he's ONLY a pet! Ein is an illegal data dog who was once stolen and *sob* locked up in a *cry* suitcase. But Bebop saves him and he "becomes" apart of their crew.
Ed is another one who is sooooo cute! She's a symbol of our inner-child (she's 13 years old believe it or not). She's always acting like a 4-year-old and is a can-you-believe-it proffessional computer hacker. They call her...Radical Edward. 0_0 Ed and Ein become best friends, so it's always fun to watch scenes when they're together. It's sooo cute@ ^_^
Basically, Bebop is your ideal family (without a mother). Jet is the father, Faye and Spike are the brother and sister (no kidding, they always fight), Ein is the family dog, and Ed is the baby sister. Fits doesn't it? (This person mentioned this in his/her website). Well, with these attatching characters, beautiful animation, great music (I LOVE "Tank"!), and excellent episodes, there's no way you can turn down Cowboy Bebop!

Posts: 11 Score: 23 Rank: 43 | Yup, Cowboy Bebop is great. It has crisp, clean animation, great characters, and compelling sessions. Sometimes the subject matter is dark and serious (such as the "Sympathy for the devil" session, which was pretty disturbing, in a creepy way) and some of it is lighter, and funny (such as the first episode that Ed is in).
There's a movie of it being realised in America! YES! But the only problem is it's rated R for "some violence". That's just sad (I'm only 14, so I have to wait 3 MORE FREAKIN' YEARS!) as Cowboy Bebop is show for ages 13 and up, as the show contains gun violence, and mild profanity. Why couldn't they just give it a PG-13 rating? I mean, Princess Mononoke (a.k.a Mononoke Hime) is MUCH more violent than Cowboy Bebop, and it was rated PG-13! Is this possibly a repeat of how they had the Matrix rated R for violence and profanity, when it was tame enough to be rated PG-13? Sounds like it.
Watch the Cowboy Bebop show, and maybe you'll see what I'm trying to say. |
