El Hazard...this was the first anime that showed me what anime could be. Beautiful backdrops, cool music, in your face storyline and great character design.

The Wanderers was the TV series, 26 episodes of pretty decent comedy and action. The Magnificent World was the 7? episode OVA series, that came next. Following sequence we have The Magnificent World 2, a 4 or 5 episode series (I forget actually how many). Next, The Alternative World, 13 episodes of "Help! I've been transfered to another world, no, wait, Oh God, I been transfered again to another world only this one is much worse and now I have to run for my life!"

The thing I love the most about El Hazard is how extremly easy it is to get into. Amatuer Anime Addicts will understand that they are being taken on a ride unlike any other. The Age Old Pros who know every anime trick in the book will also enjoy El Hazard, for the simple fact is El Hazard uses very few of the time tested anime tricks we groan at everytime we see them.
