Rank: 545 | After the convoluted plot that surrounded Gundum Wing; G Gundam was a real treat. Being in an alternate Gundam Universe; G Gundam plot revolves around an Tournament called "Gundam Fight" in which the winner rules Outer Space for 4 years.
Those who might be expecting the excellent art style of Wing and the later Gundam series (read: everything past the original Moble Suit Gundam series) may be disappointed but its no slouch and is excellent in its own right.
Its main strength is the characters: Domon Kasshu is definatly one of the best anime characters I seen in a long time, the man got heart; the various Gundam pilots; and the most colorful characters of all... the Gundams themselves.
Great pace and plot and the action hardly lags which is great. This is well done enough that even Gundam haters might enjoy the action. |
