Rank: 813 | A personal favorite of mine, Gundam Wing centers around 5 boys in their mid-teens named Duo, Heero,
Quarte, Wufei, and Trowa, who are all colonists, each one of the setteled on a space station-like colony hovering around the earth. These boys are sent to destroy the facist Rommefellor (not sure on the spelling) Foundation, a corrupt leadership orginazation on Earth.
The reason this is called Gundam Wing is because they were sent in these giant machines called Mobile Suits, sometimes dubbed gundams, which were shot to earth in the year AC (which means After Colony) 195. The gundams were thought to be meteors when they were shot to earth, so the project was called Operation Meteor.
The reason i like this is the gundams mainly. They all have their own specialties, for instance, Duo, my main man :), has his advantage underwater. I won't mention the other ones cause they all suck (except for Heero, he's like the Mario of the show, equal in everything). So in a sense the Mobiles are like the Zords on Power Rangers, ony without the crappy stuntmen or the R/C robots.
If you are a total and complete n00b, don't watch the new ones, you'll get lost real fast. Start slow, like I did. Get a DVD or 2 of the first couple episodes, that's where the basis lies.
Well, that's my summary and opinion. If you don't like it, too bad ;).

The year is AC 195, 5 "meteors" were shot to Earth. Really, they were 5 Gundams being shot down to Earth to carry out Operation Meteor. In each were 5 young boys, all around age 15. Heero, Duo, Quatre, Trowa, and Wufei, all clonist in space. This is their story of how they out did Oz, the organization that helped plan Operation Meteor. The twist? The boys aren't carrying out Operation Meteor. In fact, one of them "Stole" the Gundam.
I give it a big 10. Not to mention, they're all hot boys, Heero, and Duo, the best ><. Girls like pretty boys...
