Though the title may sound bland and childish, the movie itself isn't. And plus, this is a Miyazaki film. DO NOT TURN DOWN THE OPPURTUNITY TO SEE AN ANIME IF IT'S MADE BY THE GENIUS CREATOR, HAYAO MIYAZAKI.

In the movie, if you're a witch (I mean like those modern-day witches. Like the ones in Harry Potter), you leave home to live somewhere else at the age of 13. Basically, the day you turn into a teenager is the day you turn into an independent adult. Kiki is thrilled on the day she turns 13 to finally leave and become a real witch. She's currently just a witch-in-training but will soon become a true witch as soon as she can manage herself and get a job and everything.

During her flight on her broomstick (which her mother lent her for her journey) with her pestimistic black cat, Gigi (who's comments strongly resemble that of Squidward's from SpongeBob Squarepants) a heavy rain storm comes, and Gigi and Kiki take shelter in a train.

The next morning, Kiki and Gigi take off and fly through a huge city. Kiki ends up getting in trouble with a policeman, but escapes. A boy (who is...UGLY) on a bike shows great interest in Kiki, and follows her and tells her how great she is, but Kiki ignores it, after getting frightened buy a policeman who might have given her a ticket if she didn't take off. The boy constantly STALKS Kiki throughout the film, but of course, you know they'll become friends in the end. Sorry, but I just REALLY despise the boy (he's annoying, trust me).

Later on, Kiki starts her own special delivery service (I'm not going to tell you how, as I think that will spoil the movie. ^_^) and meets people and such. Again, I don't want to give all the goodies away to the childeren. So why not see this movie yourself? You won't be disappointed.
