Lost Universe is a great show. It is done by the same dude as the slayers but is certianly not as good. It has some rather pointless plot holes and the humor is so bad only my grandma would understand it. When it gets down to bussiness it is a truly great series though.
It is the story of 2 "trouble contractors" and some annoing blonde chick who thinks she is god's gift to mankind. The blonde chick is millie. She wants to be the best in the universe at everything but only is best with her gun and cooking, though her cooking always ruins something. There is also kain who is just a bit whiny If you ask me. I probably hate him the most untill he pulls out his psi-blade. I usually get very lost whenever he starts doing something. And finally (for the main 3 at least) is my favorite canal. Sure it is the gayest name ever but she is a character that really needs recognition. she usually simplifies kains ideas for me and is far better made than the rest of them. she is the ships AI and can manifest her self as a solid hologram.She also doesnt like toilets.
It starts out really strong but over time it starts to deteriorate but remains a solid 7 on my list. There is one other thing that must be mentioned. If you dont speak japenese and hate subtitles I highly recomend that you learn to like them. This is a really good anime and is worth checking out.
