Everyone! Let's give a round of applause for the worst anime ever! *claps* No offense to all of you who like this anime, but I find it most pathetic. Some of the material in Lupin III is much like Cowboy Bebop, but Cowboy Bebop is much better.

For one thing, the animation is dreadfully bad. I understand this anime is very old, but so were the anime films Akira and My Neighbor Tortoro, and their animation was postively gorgeous! The legs of the people in Lupin III are completely out of shape. You see, it starts out a regular size, starting at the hip, but then it gets skinnier as you go down and gets a tad wider as you get to the heel. The hands are out of shape too. I mean, they have huge palms and out-of-shape fingers. What a disgrace to anime. Unlike Lupin III, Cowboy Bebop's animation is crisp and clean. The best kind I've seen in an anime series so far.

For another, you don't give a care what's going on. With Cowboy Bebop you get a cool bad-boy named Spike, a macho chick named Faye, an old-timer with a robotic arm named Jet, a 13-year-old female computer-hacker named Ed (yes, ED), and a cute dog named Ein, and they keep the series compelling. With Lupin III, you get an idiot guy (who, no offense, resembles a chimpanzee), his wife or girlfriend or whatever, and...yeah. I just couldn't keep my attention span toward the show (or maybe it was because I was too busy staring in awe at the horrible animation).

I still can't believe the Steven Speilberg of anime, Hayao Miyazaki agreed to make a movie of this!
My suggestion? Watch a better anime. Like um...Cowboy Bebop? ;)
