Rave Master is an awesome show! And No it's Not just about some teen named Haru Glory who luggs around a big sward!
Rave Master is filled with Comedy, Action,Fantasy,Romance, And Adventure! It's more interesting than what some people will tell you on this site! Rave Master could become everyone's favorite show if everyone would just give it a chance. It's awesome! So what's it like well, it's amazing, the animation is awesome and the story that goes along with it is too! So here's how it goes:
50 years ago the powers of light faced the malicicous or(evil) forces of the dark! Then a man named Shebia weilded the Decaforce sward and the rave stones! The resolting explosin scattered the precious RAve stones accross the glob! Shebia was the name of the Rave master, but one day when a boy named Haru fished the official ring bearer out of the water one day! Haru(the Boy) met Shebia and latter a couple of thugs Haru used his soward cxalled the Decaforce soward to defeat the men! That's when Shebia realized he no longer had the power to posess the Raves HAru had become the new Rave Master!
I've thought many shows looked totally stupid, but that's only because I didn't give it a chance! So now I know better, I give every show a chance and most of the time I like the show! It just goes to show you that you should never judge a show by it's commercial!

For me, Rave is the best anime I have ever watched. Rave is cool, exciting, and makes you wanna crave for more!

Rave is an anime circling the life and adventure of a boy named Haru. Haru is trying to find his father, who has been missing for about 15 years and he is also trying to find out the mystery about Rave. Along the way, he meets a very cute girl named Elie. Elie is a funky girl who is always armed with her Guns Tonfa, but there is one flaw..she has lost her memory. Together, Haru and Elie along with Musica and Plue, embarks on a both adventurous and emotional journey..

Of course, in every anime series, there is also villain. Haru and friends try to fight off a an evil organization called Demon Card. Demon Card members have a powerful weapon quite similar to Rave but an evil version which is Dark Bring.

Different people, different lives, but in the end, it all leads to one destiny...

All in all, I rate Rave 10 out of 10.

Rave has the elements of a typical rpg: an idealistic, cocky hero, a (semi) damsel-in-distress love interest, magic, tons of baddies, mysterious fathers, mistaken-for-dead identities, pets, new world.

Elaboration:
Rave's obvious aim is to offer a strong, successful story, but it misses tragically that. Numerous questions that raise the eyebrow flow throughout the whole series, and the misplaced explanations of past events do nothing remotely close to leaving the audience mystified, excited and eager. Plus, the cliffhanger episode setting aggravates the latter problem. The clean, organized plot (or presentation of significant events) manages one major development per episode, but has the downside of dragging things. In other words, what could be done in a half-episode stretches annoyingly into one episode; the whole series becomes fucked-up elastic. The effect? Coupled with bad plot, the supposedly fast-paced, exciting story loses drastically its power. Not so good goes down to definitely not good.

The cast is varied, some perfect for burning and mutilating practices, others as shallow and dull as paper, and those left pretty cool. An example of the former is the male lead Haru (that sack of naive optimism, pride and outlook on life as a saccharine setting where we can all be friends is terrible); for the middle, it's Elie (hyper, friendly, inept little doofus with a dangerous emotional side - to the garbage dump she goes); and reserved for the latter are the slightly more interesting baddies - Shuda, Reina - and some good guys - Let, Plue. Attractive cast? Not exactly.

Background music is mostly horrible and overboard, and the shift in the credit songs further contribute to the negatives. The most notable song is Butterfly Kiss, with its flowing lyrics and pleasant harmony.

Art is simple, clean and light, animation so-so. Something you'd see on a kids' anime.

Judgement:
Despite all the "rave" reviews, its appeal is lost on me - no raving here, that's for sure. Miles away from the best, but not the worst.

Advice:
Watch it first and see if you like it.

Rave is one of the coolest anime shows I have ever seen. It greatly passes powerstone in the uniqueness and gripping story.
It features Haru, a sixteen-year old kid who becomes the second Rave Master. He searches the world to find Rave and destroy Dark Bring.
In his search to find the Rave stones he meets a lot of interesting and VERY CUTE characters: Plue, Elie, and Musica.
He fights the evils of the world with his cool sword, the ten commandments witch he can transform into ten types. I haven't finished watching all of the episodes yet but every episode make you want to watch and know what will happen next. There are some emotional episodes that make you want to cry your eyes out or laugh your lungs out even if it's only an anime that you watch.
This is one anime that I give a perfect 10 to because ITS REALLY REALLY FUN TO WATCH!!! I definetely recommend this to anyone who just loves a gripping story with lots of interesting characters.
It is shown on AXN Asia and is released on DVD. And for anyone who owns Gamecube should be watching out for Rave because IT EVEN HAS A GAME!!! I heard it wasn't released in the US yet so you better keep an eye out for that!!! And to anyone who has any more info or pics on Rave, please post it at this site. It isn't popular yet since I cant find a site but I'm hoping this will attract some die hard fans.
