Rank: 455 | | Orphen is my favorite non-chic anime ever! Although not released on U.S. T.V. (and probably never will, cuz they'll have to cut out some strange and slightly disturbing stuff), I think that it is quality anime at its finest. Orphen is a boy (who's an orphan, duh) who at a young age is recruited by the Tower of Fang to be trained as a sorcerer there. His friend Azalie accidentally turns herself into a dragon, and the Tower of Fang tries to kill her because she is an embarassment to them. Orphen cuts off all ties to the Tower of Fang, and goes in search of the three items that will change his friend back into a human. This anime has a laugh for every tear and non-stop action. It is definately a must-see. |
