This is not the Power Rangers, this is not Sailor Moon, however the only thing seperating this anime from the previous mentioned brain candy is the fact that Tokyo Mew Mew came out long after the other two. This is anime cliche after cliche. The reasons to keep watching are laughter (Pure and simple). Like the CUTE stuff? Look no further than Tokyo Mew Mew.
These girls are out to save the world from chimera animals and a cheesy alien who is in longing for the main character, Ichigo.
Watching these girls do the "Metamorphosis!" is agonizing. By the time they finally change most monsters could have annihilated the entire city. This takes a really long time.
If cute is not the way to go, then lose this title. Half the reason to watch is gone. Although, if having a laugh is reason enough most of the time, don't miss episode 7, when Mew Mew Pudding is introduced. Intrested?
