Yuuki Morimura is the concertmaster of the small Fujimi community orchestra, a mediocre group of musicians that play for the love of music. When they recieve a new conductor, Kei Tounoin (aka "Telephone Pole"), he uses his strict and sometimes dominating will to raise the level of the orchestra. Meanwhile, Yuuki's love interest takes a fancy to the new conductor, who just happens to be falling for Yuuki!
