| Tetsuro Hoshino is a lonely boy willing to give anything to board the Galaxy 999, a train which travels through space, beginning on one end of the galaxy at Megalopolis Station and ending on the other end at Andromeda. Tetsuro's world is one in which most humans scarifice their flesh and blood to gain mechanical bodies to live longer and healthier; when he was younger, Tetsuro's mother was murdered by a human hunter and her body used for his daughter's mechanical body. Now Tetsuro will give anything to board the Three-Nine in order to gain a mechanical body to gain revenge.
