| A beautiful tale from Hayao Miyazaki. Ashitake is the prince of the dying tribe of the Emishi people, and his life was quiet and nice until one fateful day when a demon attempts to attack his village. In saving his village, Ashitaka is touched by the demon and cursed. He is told that the curse will eat him from the inside out, and he will die. In a quest to find what drove the demon made and caused his rapidly approaching death, Ashitaka gets caught up in the timeless war between man and nature, a war in which he seems to be the only person looking for a middle ground.
